Vaccination

Vaccination Protocol

Your pet will receive a top to tail, thorough physical exam. During this visit, your pet will also be offered vaccinations tailored to their individual lifestyle. We follow vaccination guidelines recommended by the World Small Animal Veterinary Association and our governing Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.

Generally, Puppies and Kittens receive a "Core Series of Vaccines" too boost their immune system at 8, 12 and 16 weeks of age. A year later, they will receive their one year vaccinations. Following that, most pets go on to a three year vaccination schedule.
Adult Cats and Dogs are routinely boosted every three years.
Kennel Cough - is a yearly booster offered to dogs similar to the human flu vaccine.
