Hello, my name is Dr. Victoria and it's my pleasure to welcome you to SRVC! I'm a graduate of WCVM and I began my career as a Small Animal Veterinarian in Calgary in 2005. I was fortunate to become the owner of the Bragg Creek Animal Hospital in 2008. I intend to bring my personalized style of veterinary medicine to Cochrane. I live with my family, small zoo of horses, 4 parrots, 2 cats and 3 dogs on an acreage in Water Valley. I love the outdoors especially being on the trails with my best friend "Phyre", a Friesian gelding.
Originally from Ontario cottage country, Laura attended the University of Guelph and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009. She moved to Alberta after graduation and has spent the past 15 years working in small and mixed animal practice. Laura has a special love for denistry and soft tissue surgery. When she is not at work she can be found outdoors - horseback riding, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. She lives on a rural property with her 3 horses (Two, Zorro, and Rudy), dog Elmer, and cat Heidi. She is hoping to start a small flock of commerical meat sheep soon!
Dr. Claudia graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 2018. Since graduation Claudia has worked in mixed and small animal practice in Alberta, and had the opportunity to spend a year working in small animal practice in Hawaii! She also worked in Kenya on a dairy cow project with Veterinarians Without Borders. Claudia is happy to have moved back to Cochrane, and looks forward to meeting and serving clients and patients at SRVC. Claudia has a special passion for nutrition, and is a certified Therapeutic Pet Nutrition Coach.
Hi, I'm Kelsey. I have a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Calgary and bring 7 years of experience in a veterinary setting. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Victoria Fielding when I first started out in vet medicine, and I am excited to be working with her again, alongside the SRVC team! When not busy working, I enjoy hiking/camping with my husband and golden retriever, skiing, and hitting the trails with my horse.
Brooke is an outgoing Calgarian whose equestrian journey began at the age of eight with her beloved pony, Rebel. Alongside her siblings, she dove into the English disciplines of jumping, dressage, and eventing, becoming a dedicated member of the Canadian Pony Club. Brooke has showcased her skills in venues like Spruce Meadows and Rocky Mountain Show Jumping, where she developed a deep appreciation for sportsmanship and forged strong bonds with her equine partners. Brooke is a proud fur mom to her mini Australian Shepherd, Rainy, who often assists at the clinic, and her Ragdoll cat, Remi! In 2018, she joined the Calgary Stampede Showriders, traveling throughout Alberta with a dynamic team of 16 girls. Brooke has proudly represented the Airdrie Pro Rodeo as royalty and participated in the Calgary Stampede Ranch Girls, running flags in the rodeo. An alumna of the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, Brooke recently earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree. Hi! I'm Angie. After a career as a registered dental assistant and administrator, I had the opportunity to volunteer for a number of animal rescues and shelters and that venture turned into a career all of its own. Those years helping and learning about everything from wolfdogs to horses taught me that we all have the power to be the change we wish to see in the world. Our family home has slowly transformed into a "last chance" Doggy Senior Centre and we wouldn't have it any other way! There's always space for one more. I spend most of my spare time out in the mountains xcountry skiing, scrambling, climbing and camping. And during my work days I get to meet new furry friends and their humans; combining my interest in the medical field with animal care! Talk to you soon.
